Robert Abbe

  Robert Abbe is a Managing Director in the Jefferies Broadview technology investment banking group. Mr. Abbe works in the Silicon Valley office and serves as Co-Head of the firm's Communications Technology global practice group. With 16 years of experience in information technology - including twelve years with the firm - he has an extensive transaction background advising public and private companies in communications infrastructure, communications software, enhanced services and data security. Since joining the firm, Mr. Abbe has advised on over 60 M&A transactions. Recent transactions include PointSec Mobile Technologies' acquisition by Check Point Software, Bitfone's sale to Hewlett-Packard, Widerthan's sale to Real Networks, and Palmsource in its sale to Access. Previously, he held senior positions in the Technology Group at Silicon Valley Bank where he was responsible for financing emerging and middle-market technology companies. Mr. Abbe received an MBA from Dartmouth's Tuck School and a BA from the University of Colorado.

  David Creamer is a Managing Director of the Jefferies Broadview technology investment banking group. He works in the firm's Silicon Valley office and is head of the firm's global semiconductor practice group. He has 20 years of experience in the semiconductor market and, in 15 years of transaction experience, Mr. Creamer has advised on more than 60 M&A transactions. Recent clients he has advised include FCI in its $93M sale to Silicon Motion, Integrant Technologies in its $127M sale to Analog Devices, Jungo in its $107M sale to NDS, Picolight in its $115M sale to JDS Uniphase, Chipcon in its $200M sale to Texas Instruments, Alphamosaic in its $123MM sale to Broadcom and nVIDIA in its $70MM acquisition of MediaQ. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Creamer held marketing management positions at Altera. Earlier, he had been a Financial Consultant at Arthur D. Little and a Product Marketing Manager at Sun Microsystems. He holds an MBA degree from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and a BSEE/CS degree from the University of California, Berkeley.

  Paul Crisci is a Managing Director of the Jefferies Broadview technology investment banking group. Mr. Crisci is Head of the Silicon Valley office and is a member of Broadview's Software, Services & Media global practice group. In 17 years of investment banking experience with significant expertise in enterprise software, Mr. Crisci has advised on more than 50 transactions. Transactions Mr. Crisci has worked on involve notable enterprise software companies such as IBM, Hewlett Packard and Microsoft. Prior to joining the firm, he held various marketing management positions at Silicon Graphics, Inc. Prior to joining Silicon Graphics, he worked in sales and marketing at IBM. Mr. Crisci holds an MBA degree from Harvard Business School and a BS degree from the University of Maryland.

  David Liu is a Managing Director of the Jefferies Broadview technology investment banking group. He works in the firm's Silicon Valley office and is a member of the Software, Services & Media global practice group. Mr. Liu covers both U.S. and Asian technology companies and has strong domain knowledge of technology capital markets. Since joining the firm in 1993, Mr. Liu has completed over 30 transactions resulting in an aggregate value of more than $3 billion. With more than 12 years of investment banking, venture capital and technology start-up experience, Mr. Liu has advised on a broad range of transactions ranging from IPOs, follow-on offerings, convertibles, private company sales, tender offers and restructurings. Mr. Liu founded his own software company and has served on the boards of several technology start-ups. He holds an MBA degree from Harvard Business School and two BS degrees from the University of Pennsylvania.
