Paul Deninger

  Paul Deninger is a Vice Chairman of Jefferies & Company, Inc. Previously he had joined Broadview in 1987, where he became CEO in 1996. He was elected Chairman of Broadview in 1999 and remained Chairman and CEO until the firm's acquisition in 2003. With more than 20 years of experience in the technology industry, Mr. Deninger has advised on over 125 M&A transactions and numerous IPOs. He has served on the boards of several public and private technology companies and he has been a member of the World Economic Forum since 1996. Mr. Deninger also serves on the boards of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Big Brother of Massachusetts Bay, and The MATCH School. He is on the executive committee of TechNet and is co-chairman of TechNet New England. He also sits on the investment committee of London-based Kennet Venture Partners. Mr. Deninger received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS from Boston College.

  Alec Ellison is President of the Jefferies Broadview technology investment banking group and leads the firm's global M&A advisory practice. With 20 years of experience in technology investment banking, Mr. Ellison has completed over 100 transactions. He has particular expertise in enterprise software M&A transactions with a focus on vertical applications companies. Prior to joining the firm, he worked in the Technology Group at Morgan Stanley. Mr. Ellison serves on the board of Vertrue. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a George F. Baker Scholar and a BA, summa cum laude, from Yale University.

Bruce Huber

  Bruce Huber is Head of European Technology Investment Banking at Jefferies and a Managing Director of the Jefferies Broadview technology investment banking group. Mr. Huber is also the investment banking representative on the board of directors of Jefferies International Limited. With over 23 years of technology investment banking expertise, including over 15 years working with European clients, he has advised on over 100 M&A and capital markets transactions. Previously, he was a director focusing on international M&A at Barclays de Zoete Wedd (BZW) working in London and Frankfurt. Prior to joining BZW, Mr. Huber worked at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in their New York office, where he helped build the firm's communications investment banking practice from 1984 to 1990, with experience across IPOs, convertible debt, private placements, project financing and high yield debt through M&A advisory. He holds a BSE degree from Princeton University.

Stephen O'Leary

  Stephen O'Leary is a Senior Managing Director in the Jefferies Broadview technology investment banking group. Mr. O'Leary is Co-Head of Technology Investment Banking and Head of the firm's Boston office. With 22 years of experience in investment banking and venture capital, he has completed more than 100 M&A and capital markets transactions involving enterprise software, media and Internet companies. He brings a strong track record advising publicly-traded companies in a range of strategic alternatives including take-private transactions. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. O'Leary focused on emerging-growth technology software, communications and semiconductor businesses at BancBoston Ventures where he worked for four years. Previously, he served in the U.S. Navy for five years onboard nuclear submarines as a qualified nuclear engineer. He now serves on the Board of Trustees of the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council. Mr. O'Leary received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS with distinction from the U.S. Naval Academy.

  Jason Auerbach is a Co-Head of Technology M&A at Jefferies and a Managing Director of the Jefferies Broadview technology investment banking group. Mr. Auerbach works in the Boston office and has more than 10 years of extensive transaction and advisory experience in technology, which includes advising on more than 50 transactions in software, services and digital media. Transactions he has advised on include Kronos in its sale to Hellman & Friedman, MapInfo in its acquisition by Pitney Bowes, Exstream Software in its recapitalization by American Capital, Zavata in its sale to Apollo Health Street, Brassring in its acquisition by Kenexa, Yantra in its sale to Sterling Commerce/AT&T and ViPS in its sale to WebMD. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Strategy Consultant in the telecommunications and media practice of Coopers & Lybrand Consulting. He was also a Project Manager for Reach Networks, an online service provider. Mr. Auerbach holds an MBA degree from Harvard Business School and a BA degree from Columbia University.

  Robert Jackman is a Co-Head of Technology M&A at Jefferies and a Managing Director of the Jefferies Broadview technology investment banking group. Mr. Jackman works in the New York office and has advised on a broad range of M&A transactions for leading technology companies including: Endpocket in its sale to Nokia, TA Associates in its recapitalization of Intralinks, Bitfone in its sale to HP, Widerthan in its sale to RealNetworks, Motorola in its acquisition of Broadbus and Amdocs in its acquisition of Cramer. Previously, he was associated with the law firm of Sullivan Cromwell, where he worked on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions. Mr. Jackman holds a JD degree from Columbia Law School, a Master's degree from Yale Law School and a BA degree from the University of Southern California.
