Schwartz Director of High Yield Sales & Trading NEW YORK, Feb 28, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Jefferies & Company, Inc., the principal operating subsidiary of Jefferies Group, Inc. (NYSE: JEF), today announced that David W. Schwartz, an Executive Vice President, has been named Director of High Yield Sales & Trading. Mr. Schwartz, 37, will continue to report to Richard B. Handler, Chairman and CEO of Jefferies, and is based in the firm's Stamford, Connecticut office. "David Schwartz has distinguished himself as a high yield and special situations trader throughout his career at Jefferies," commented Mr. Handler. "His leadership has been key to our success in building one of the most effective high yield sales and trading efforts on the Street." Mr. Schwartz has been a member of Jefferies' high yield team for eight years and previously worked at Prudential Securities and Paine Webber. He graduated with honors from Yale University in 1987 with a B.A. in Economics. Jefferies is a top trader in the secondary high yield market.
