(NYSE: JEF), today announced that Howard S. Furman has joined the firm's Bonds Direct Division to head this group's Boston business. Mr. Furman, a 20-year industry veteran, was most recently the head of Taxable Fixed Income in First Albany Capital's Wellesley, Massachusetts office. "Boston is a critical market for our business, and Howard Furman will immediately enhance our franchise there," commented Lee Fensterstock, Managing Director of the Bonds Direct Division of Jefferies.
