NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 28, 2006--Jefferies & Company, Inc., the principal operating subsidiary of Jefferies Group, Inc. (NYSE: JEF), today announced that Senior Equity Research Analyst David R. Tameron has been appointed to head the equity research group covering U.S. exploration and production companies. He will be joined by research analysts, David C. Adams and Leo P. Mariani, Jr., who will be assuming coverage of the E&P companies formerly covered by Frank D. Bracken III. This follows the recent move of Mr. Bracken to Jefferies' Randall & Dewey Energy Investment Banking Group.
Messrs. Adams and Mariani have worked with Mr. Bracken for six and three years, respectively. Senior Analyst Charles W. Sharp, who joined Jefferies International Ltd. in August 2005, is responsible for coverage of UK E&P companies. The group collectively provides equity research coverage on over 50 E&P companies globally.
