JEFFERIES ENHANCES PRIVATE CLIENT SERVICES PRESENCE IN DALLAS AND BOSTON

NEW YORK, June 7, 2007 -- Jefferies & Company, Inc., the principal operating subsidiary of Jefferies Group, Inc. (NYSE: JEF), today announced the hiring of Michael L. Munson, T. Wesley Caywood and Jin K. Park, as Managing Directors in the Firm’s Private Client Services (PCS) Group.

Mr. Munson joins the Firm’s established Private Client Services team in Boston from Thomas Weisel Partners. He has 16 years of institutional sales and corporate services experience at firms including MSBC, LLC and Mellon Financial Markets and as an independent advisor. Messrs. Caywood and Park will initiate and drive the Firm’s PCS efforts in Dallas. They bring a collective 17 years of experience from firms including Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Banc of America Securities.
